Summary: Much better sales this month. I'm still a believer in the Christmas Bump, as I managed to get five sales alone on Christmas Day. Adding in the total year's sales from Smashwords and I've easily topped five hundred dollars in pre-tax profit. That's a first in the three years or so that I've been selling my stories online.

This is probably the most successful month I've ever seen for sale since I started tracking all of this last year. Without very much advertising I posted Prisoners of War onto Amazon with the new cover by Naziha Zahed and it took off, selling sixteen copies (well seventeen, but someone wimped and returned theirs), in less than two weeks. Smashwords announced today that PayPay has reversed their attempt to censor authors on Smashwords. Oddly enough, that means now PayPal has the most liberal policy towards paying for goods on the Internet now.

For myself, Prisoners of War will be available for sale once again shortly, after it goes through the automated review process again.

So Paypal contacted Smashwords and let them know that their contract with Paypal would be suspended if they didn't delete all of the erotic works being published on their site related to "bestiality, rape-for-titillation, incest and underage erotica".
